In the very west of the Salzburger Land, high above the town of Neukirchen, in the Trattenbachtal, in absolute seclusion and tranquility. The Wildkogel Arena is located between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The region offers varied hikes, many imposing peaks and the incomparable panorama of the Wildkogel! Leisure cyclists and mountain bikers get their moneys worth here.
DistancesVillage Neukirchen with swimming pool, tennis and bicycle rental 13km. Farmed alpine hut, where you can buy agricultural products like milk, bread, butter, cheese and eggs, or recover with an alpine snack, coffee and cake, 2km. Fishing possibilities in 3km. Numerous hiking- and mountainbike trails in front of the cottage.
EquippmentComfortable hut snuggery with seats, satellite TV and tiled stove, kitchen with electric cooker (2 plates), oven, wood stove, coffee machine, chilly cellar to store foodstuffs and drinks, freezer. Shower, toilet. Upper floor: three bedrooms with altogether 9 beds and 1 cot (length 150cm). Heating with tiled stove. Washing machine available. In front of the hut is a fenced garden with seats, a barbecue and a fantastic view. Next to the hut is an empty stable.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Electricity € 0,40/kWh, local tourism tax currently € 1,95/kWh, residual waste € 12,-/bag. Bed linen can be rented for € 15,-/set. Deposit € 300,-. pet per week € 40,-

During a summer holiday in the Wildkogel Arena, a region between the Kitzbühel Alps and Hohe Tauern National Park, countless recreational activities invite you to discover, experience and enjoy out in the fresh mountain air.
As you set out on a variety of hikes ranging from easy to challenging, you will have the opportunity to actively encounter the beautiful countryside of our Hohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region, all the while looking up at the many imposing peaks of the Hohe Tauern range. Cyclists as well as mountain bikers and downhillers likewise discover their own piece of heaven in the Wildkogel Arena. Whether you wish to explore the area on your own by bicycle or mountain bike or opt to take part in one of our guided mountain bike tours, is entirely up to you. In our holiday region, the WildkogelAktiv program promises a wide selection of activities, with something for every taste and all weather conditions.
After a great day of hiking or biking during your summer vacation in the Wildkogel Arena, you can look forward to numerous restaurants either up on the mountains or down in the valley, where, in a cozy setting, you will be treated, amongst other things, to delicious specialties of the Pinzgau region. And awaiting your kids is the Kogel-Mogel Adventure Arena: an exciting playground made out of wood, located right next to the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahn lifts.

Das war nicht unser letzter Urlaub in dieser Hütte. Für uns war es ein rundum erholsamer Urlaub.
Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub auf der Alm. Die urige, einfach ausgestattete Alm liegt in traumhafter Alleinlage hoch oben in den Bergen (Anfahrt ca. 45 min von Neukirchen). Vom Haus aus kann man direkt loswandern. Wir haben mit dem Holzofen gekocht und auch gebacken - ging (mit etwas Vorerfahrung) ohne Probleme. Unsere vier Kinder haben die Umgebung mit den Tieren (ca. 30 Kühe) sehr genossen
Eine sehr schöne Almhütte zum erholen und so richtig mal zum abschalten.
Viele liebe Grüße an die Grund Alm mit der guten Bewirtung.
