On a sunny high plateau, with a wonderful view towards the Hochkönig. There are meadows around the house, opposite is the landlords organic farm. Here you can get fresh milk, eggs or meat. The Tennengebirge and the Fritztaler Berge with their panoramic Hochgründeck (1,827m) give the place its imposing frame of rugged peaks and gentle alpine meadows.

The biggest skiing area in Austria: the ski alliance ski amadé! 1 ski pass for 5 regions (Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming - Dachstein Tauern, Gastein, Hochkönigs Winterreich, Großarltal), 25 famous ski resorts, 760km slopes and 270 ski lifts. Altough it is an area where snow is more or less assured, there are also snow covering machines. Also ideal for cross-country skiers.
By the way: cost-free ski bus service, ski- and snowboard schools, child care, toboggan run, ice-skating place, horse-drawn sleigh ride, hiking trails and excellent gastronomy.
Summer activities: Tauern-golf course in Radstadt, swimming baths, tennis courts, mountain bike routes or several marked hiking trails.
