Right on the ski slope, near the gondola lift and in the middle of the Loferer Alm hiking area (46 km of slopes, high-altitude trail, fun park), solitary, with a wide panoramic view to Lofer and the surrounding mountains. In winter, ascent with the gondola, which stops approximately 150m above the house - therefore also easily accessible for non-skiers. In summer or depending on snow conditions, the house can be reached directly by car.
DistancesSki slope directly from the house. Mountain restaurant 100m above. Beautiful hiking trails, waterfall trail, circular hiking trails, some of which are easy to walk with prams, directly from the house. The location is also ideal for cyclists! Adventure playground Loferer Alm 3km. Village of Lofer with shops and restaurants 3km away.
EquippmentThe farmhouse is comfortably furnished and has on the ground floor: large kitchen with dining area, electric stove, woodburning stove, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle. Cozy living room with enough seating and a stove. 1 double room. Large bathroom with shower, toilet and sauna! Passage to conservatory with seating. First floor: 4 bedrooms, shower, toilet. SAT-TV, radio, ski boot dryer, internet in the house. Central heating with wood chips. The rear part of the house is an empty stable. Sun terrace in front of the house, deck chairs, grill.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Electricity €0.35/kwh, heating €0.12/kwh, local tax €1.70 (in summer - Sommercard €3.40 from 15 years), cleaning €140.00. Deposit € 300,-. Bed linen and towels can be rented €14/set, pets €50/week.
In winter luggage transport € 30,-/journey.
Summer season: "Sommercard" € 3,40/person/night over 15 years/night (free use of the cable car, swimming pools, admission to the gorges, Lamprechtshöhle (cave), ...

Winter Infos
10 cable cars and ski lifts as well as 46km slopes - at Lofer you can really enjoy the winter! It is located amidst the holiday region Salzburger Saalachtal. The skiing region was highly honoured for its family-friendliness from a testing organisation - the investigations of the last years definitely pay off! Furthermore Lofer offers a 140m long "magic carpet" (that´s a kind of conveyor belt) for the children.
If you´d like to go cross-country skiing you can choose between the 1.5km long and the 4km long prepared course, which leads through the wonderful winter landscape. Along the path you have the possibility to stop off at four restaurants.
NEW: the whole 7km long slope down to the valley is snow-covered!
Summer Infos
Located in the heart of the Pinzgau and in the triangle between Salzburg, Tyrol and Bavaria, is the Salzburg Saalachtal with the towns of Lofer, Unken, St. Martin and Weißbach.
Picturesque, each unique and connected by the rushing Saalach, they are an ideal starting point for outdoor adventures such as white water, rafting, canyoning, and kayaking. Climbing, hiking in the Almenwelt Lofer or much more. Whether summer or winter, the wonderful nature surrounds you at all times.
In the Salzburger Saalachtal you can enjoy your vacation days to the fullest. When hiking in search of that one, very special summit victory, prefer to explore the mountains on an e-mountain bike, discover the wild water in all its facets or spend and experience time and adventures with the family - there is something for everyone.

eine sehr Schöne Hütte in bester Lage.
Das war die erste Selbstversorgerhütte die ich jemals (selbst) gebucht hatte. Wir waren 11 Personen (6 Erwachsene, 2 Teenager, 2 Kinder, ein Baby), davon drei mit Höhenangst (vermutlich jetzt nicht mehr).
Organisation:
Anders wie in manch anderen Selbstverorgerhütten war das nötigste (zum Beispiel Salz, Alufolie, Eiswürfel...) vorhanden. Die Vermieter sind ca. 300 meter weit weg und sollte was sein sind diese auch da und immer freundlich.
Hütte:
In der Beschreibung nicht beschrieben ist da auch eine Mikrowelle. (war für uns wichtig wegen den Babyfläschen zum sterilisieren). Die Vierbettzimmer sind auch hervorragend für Eltern mit Kinder geeignet, da diese ein Doppelbett und zwei normale Betten haben. Der Platz in den Zimmern und in den Abstellräumen ist sehr großzügig.
Selbstversorger:
Die Preise für Teigwaren ist in dem Gebiet recht hoch. Die zwei großen Läden in Lofer bieten Aufbackwecken jeweils 6 Stück einmal für 1,49€ und einmal für 1,29€ an. Ca. 20Minuten weg ist Saalfelden mit einem großen Discounte,r der Aufbackwecken für 0,59€ anbietet. Ich will nicht den Schwaben raushängen, aber bei 11 Personen muss man in der Gegend etwas mitrechnen. Das Restaurant am Loderbichel hat bis 18:00 geöffnet (im Sommer), da war es auch kein Problem um 17:10 drei Portionen Pommes und zweimal Spätzle mit Soße zum mitnehmen zu bestellen, dass das grillen für die Kinder schmackhafter wird.
Alles in allem war alles bestens, wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen.

Wir sind bald schon seit 10 Jahren im Loderbichl, die Lage fast direkt an der Mittelstation ist ideal.
