Die Hütte liegt im Mostviertel, am Fuße des Sonntagberges, etwa 4km von Waidhofen/Ybbs. Am Sonntagberg steht die weithin sichtbare Wallfahrtskirche im barocken Stil. Rund um den Sonntagberg schlängeln sich unzählige Wander- und Radwege.

Wildlife park and climbing forest 5km, Zoo "Haag" 27km.

Ground floor: snuggery with seating corner, perfectly equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven, dish washer, fridge, coffee machine, water heater. Bathroom with shower, toilet. Upper floor: Bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1 couch. Satellite TV available. Heating with the chimney. In front of the hut is a roofed terrace with seats, a barbecue. Here you find the sauna/infrared cabine.

Lump-sum (electricity, wood, waste) € 4,-/person/night, local tourism tax €2,50/night/person Final cleaning € 60,-. Pet € 5,-/day, bed linen + towels can be rented for € 10,-/set.

The Sonntagberg has been one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Austria for centuries. Visible as lookout point from far away, it is the landmark of the Mostviertel and one of the spiritual centers of Austria.
The approximately 50-kilometer-long panoramic high path meanders along the Sonntagberg via St. Leonhard am Walde to the Hochkogelberg above Randegg. Be leisurely on the move, linger and enjoy the wonderful views. Along all routes there are pretty places to picnic, wine taverns and taverns to stop off at.
