Location

In the midst of meadows and alpine pastures, next to a second farmhouse, otherwise absolutely quiet, secluded location. In the unique nature, the deer and roe deer even come right up to the hut. A unique experience: in autumn, watch the fascinating spectacle of the deer rut up close.

Equippment

The farmhouse was completely renovated in 2019. You can find everything on one floor: 1 douple room with bathroom with a shower and extra toilet. 1 three-bed room. 1 four-bed room with double bed and bunk bed, couch. All bed rooms with satellite TV. Hairdryer. Extra shower/toilet. Big snuggery with seating corner, perfectly equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven, wood stove, microwave, dish washer, fridge, coffee machine, water heater. Floor heating in the whole cottage. WIFI, Washing machine. In front of the cottage is a terrace with seats, a barbecue and a wide view and a little play ground.

Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:

Lump sum for electricity € 70,-/week, local tourism tax € 2,50 / person / night , final cleaning € 120,-, wood € 5,-/basket. Pet € 50,--85,-/week. bed linen + towels can be rented € 15,-/set.

These family-friendly ski areas in Lower Austria score with a comfortable infrastructure, great gastronomy and an ideal price-performance ratio. Guests feel at home here, not least because there are slopes for all ages and skill levels.
The Hochbärneck ski area offers 2 drag lifts and 5 pistes with a total length of over 5 kilometers in a fairytale setting. For the little ones there is a new magic carpet with a length of almost 20m. The fantastic surroundings can also be explored on a leisurely touring ski or snowshoe hike.

St. Anton an der Jeßnitz is an important resting place on the old pilgrimage route to Mariazell. The idyllic community is located on the Lower Austria Eisenstrasse and at the entrance to the Ötscher-Tormäuer nature park. There are 100km of marked hiking trails in this hiking paradise. Wonderful destinations like Trefflingfall, Hochbärneck Alm, Ötschergräben and Schlagerboden.

Zum dritten Mal auf der Steinalm. Und schon bei der Abreise plant man die baldige Wiederkehr. Die Alm gefällt nicht nur uns Eltern, sondern nach wie vor unseren mittlerweile jugendlichen Kindern (umso mehr, als dass es nun auch WLAN und entzückende Katzenbabys gibt). Sehr zu empfehlen, gerade auch als Ausgangsort für Ausflüge ins Gebirge, an die Donau und nach Wien (rund 1,5 Std. Fahrt), aber auch einfach auch nur für einen entspannten Sommertag auf der Alm.

Dieses Haus wurde uns empfohlen, es ist erst 2019 fertig ausgebaut worden. Wir haben als Familie eine Woche im Juli dort verbracht - und waren begeistert! Bis auf das Läuten der Kuhglocken und das Plätschern des Brunnens herrscht absolute Ruhe in dieser Alleinlage, der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Hügel ist gerade an sonnigen Abenden von der Terrasse aus wunderbar. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und vollständig, es fehlt an nichts. Der Weg herunter nach St. Anton ist mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten problemlos erledigt. Der Vermieter ist sehr aufmerksam. Ausflugsziele gibt es reichlich (Ötscher, Lunz am See, Wachau, auch Wien).Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
