The cabin overlooks the village of St. Urban, a small village with a lake for bathing, beyond the skiing area Simonhöhe, secluded, on a slope.
DistancesSt. Urban 4km, lake Urbansee 4km or 18km Ossiacher lake, skiing region Simonhöhe with 7 drag lifts, 1 ski lift for children and about 12km slopes are reachable in 3km from here. With enough snow you can go back to the hut by ski - up to about 500m.
EquippmentGround floor: parlor with dining table, wood stove, electric cooker, water boiler, coffee machine, fridge. Shower/toilet. Upper floor: 1 bedroom with big bunk bed for up to 6 persons and 2 single beds (electric radiator), 1 bedroom with one double bed and bunk bed (oil stoves). Electrical heating or via wood stoves and oil stoves. Electricity available. In front of the hut are wide meadows, a barbecue and a wonderful view.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tourism tax currently € 1,23/person/night, electricity € 0,21/kWh, final cleaning € 30,-, dog € 15,-/week. Bed linen can be rented for € 5,-/set.

The family skiing region St.Urban/Simonhöhe offers best prepared slopes and is a nice area for novices in skiing as well as for advanced skiers.
8 ski lifts, a big fun park, modern skiing facilities on snow- and avalanche secure slopes and an alpine racetrack guarantee a lot of fun for the whole family. Cross-country ski runs, a ski school (also snowboard lessons), a ski-service-centre, an ice sports field and curling are available.

The southeastern foothills of the Nockberge make the landscape gently hilly and thus an Eldorado for hikers and cyclists.
Well-marked hiking trails and a diverse range of cycle paths invite you to actively experience nature. The idyllic bathing lakes of the region offer a welcome cooling for young and old on warm summer days.
But not only the nature and the landscape around Feldkirchen have a lot to offer, the city itself is always worth a visit! The Alpe-Adria cuisine of Carinthia can be enjoyed to the full in the cafes and restaurants.
