The hut is in a wonderful, secluded location on the slope above Kitzbühel, right in the Kitzbüheler Horn hiking area. The location is ideal for hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Access by car via the toll road, the car stops about 10 minutes above the hut, then a meadow path down to the hut.
DistancesAlpinpasture directly in front of the hut. Next serviced hut Alpenhaus (mountain station Hornbahn) 2km. Hiking trail over the Trattenbachmulde to the Hornköpflhütte, where the Hornköpflsee reservoir is located 4km. Kitzbühel 8km.
EquippmentThe hut has a rustic living room with a seating area and a wood stove with an oven. 2 bedrooms with double bed and loft bed. Solar power for light. In front of the hut there is a sun terrace with a wonderful view, grill, seating area. Water in the well in front of the hut, camping shower in the garden.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tax currently € 1,80/person/night, bed linen € 7,-/set can be rented. Deposit for toll card € 150,-.
