The holiday home is situated in a wonderfully quiet, secluded location above Murau in Styria. It is surrounded by meadows and pastures, next to an empty barn and stable, and offers stunning views. The access road leads to a farm and ends there, so it is rarely used and you can enjoy a wonderfully peaceful stay.

Distances

Nearest shopping town: Murau (8 km), Kreischberg ski area (15 km), Grebenzen (15 km), Lachtal (40 km). Laßnitz bathing pond with inn (5 km). Aqualux thermal baths (57 km). Numerous hiking trails start right from the cabin. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt (Wood World) in Murau, the largest interactive center dedicated to wood. Guided walks through wood are offered during the summer months.

Equippment

The 300-year-old farmhouse has been newly renovated and comfortably furnished. Ground floor: large living room with sitting area, sofa, and satellite TV. Kitchen with dining area, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, wood-burning stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. Shower/WC. First floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom with bunk beds, 1 large triple bedroom with a double bed, single bed, and cot. Three additional beds (90x200 cm) are available on-site and can be added as needed. 1 WC. Central heating with pellets. Washing machine, freezer, and electric boot dryer are provided. In front of the house is a large meadow, a fish pond, and a seating area with a barbecue and fire pit. Cows graze behind the house in the summer.

Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:

Electricity €0.40/kWh, local tax currently €2.50/person/night, final cleaning €110, pet €35/week. Bed linen €8 or towels €4/set available for rent on request. Fish €5 each. Security deposit €300. Extra bed €15/night.

This skiing area offers 14 ski lifts with a total carrying capacity of 17,400 persons per hour. The "10er cable railway" set new standards in quality and comfort. The very modern 2.1km long cable railway transports the Kreischberg guests in a comfortable and quick way from an altitude of 1,600m to 2,050m. The "Tubing Arena", a permanent racing course with speed camera - well, all this you can enjoy at the Kreischberg! The offer for the children is also not bad: at the "Yabba Dabba Doo-Land" you can see Fred, Wilma and Barney, at the "Dinopark" you could meet primeval times monsters and in the meantime the children can also romp around at the "Kreischi Trampolin". Novices in skiing, or children, start at the "Kinderwelt" with "magic carpet" (that´s a kind of conveyor belt), ski lift for children and a "mini-wave-course" - later you will see each other at the Kreischi-lift!
Eldorado for all snowboard-fans: there is a lighted up half-pipe, a board land, as well as perfect snowboard hillsides.

The Murau-Murtal region offers swimming, hiking, cycling and much more in summer. Explore some of our wonderful hiking trails or spend a day bathing with your family in one of our numerous bathing lakes or outdoor pools!
Bike paths, selective climbing tours, leisurely family, themed and alpine hikes ensure movement. Wonderful views show dreamy stretches of land, small, historic towns and markets.
And in the valley it’s really going. Accelerate at top-class events at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
