In the sunny south of Salzburg, Unternberg in the UNESCO Biosphere Park offers a perfect holiday destination in summer and winter alike. You live in the lateral, elongated, new extension, on the entire upper floor, with your own staircase. Around the house meadow, garden and view of the Gfrereteich.
DistancesThe holiday home is in an ideal location! The surrounding ski areas with 300 kilometers of slopes can also be reached by ski bus (station 300m away). Ski area Katschberg Aineck 6km, Großeck-Speiereck 9km, Obertauern 25km. Immediate access to the cross-country ski trail from the house! A well-marked network of hiking and biking trails leads to around 60 crystal-clear mountain lakes and over 70 alpine huts. Other offers such as golf (6 km), horseback riding, paragliding or climbing complete the range of offers in the Salzburg Lungau. Tip: the 5,5 hectare Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 14 km away. The circular hiking trail with the inn is particularly popular with families. In the idyllic village of Unternberg there is an inn, right next to it is a tennis court and the Gfrererteich for paddling. In winter you can often ice skate here! Next larger town Tamsweg 6km, St Michael 8km. The accommodation is the ideal starting point for family hikes, theme trails and nature trails, sleigh rides, mountain or e-bike tours. A cultural attraction is Moosham Castle with guided tours and a model airfield.
EquippmentYou live in the newly built transverse wing and here the entire upper floor. You will find on one floor: living room with kitchenette, perfectly equipped with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave. Seating area, satellite TV, W-Lan. 2 double rooms, 1 room with a single bed and an extra bed if required. central heating. In front of the house there is a large garden with a patio, grill and deck chairs. From the garden you can go directly to the pond of the neighboring inn. It also has fish in it, it may be too cold for swimming but it sure is perfect for cooling off and splashing about! In winter you can often ice skate here and the innkeeper is also happy to have guests!

Skiing in St. Michael is a real experience. The 4 skiing regions Aineck, Katschberg, Fanningberg and Grosseck-Speiereck offer more than 220km slopes and 50 ski lifts!
Wonderful deep snow hillsides and best prepared slopes at all levels of difficulty offer fun for novices in skiing as well as for advanced skiers. The 6-seater "Samson-chairlift" on the mountain Fanningberg which is the longest chairlift in the world, the cable car for 8 persons with a 4km long slope to the valley at the skiing region Grosseck-Speiereck and a fun park for snowboarders on the Aineck mountain are the main attractions of this top skiing region.
