The farmhouse is situated extremely quiet, sunny, alone and surrounded by meadows.
DistancesNext town is Metnitz in 3,5km. Pond, tennis court in town. "Adventure-guesthouse" with a Porsche-museum in 10km. Hiking and mountain biking paradise Flattnitz in 15km. "Castle-city" Friesach in 15km. There are many hiking trails starting at the hut, enjoy the fog-free, healthy mountain air! Metnitz offers many events for people who are interested in culture! On request, shiatsu massage in the hut!
EquippmentThis cottage is furnished in a very cozy and lovely style. You live on just one floor (suitable for wheelchairs). There is a snuggery, out of Swiss stone pine wood, with lounge, a single bed, a sofa (extendable, if needed) and television. Behind this parlor is a double room, shower. Kitchen with lounge, wood stove, electric cooker (2 plates), fridge, coffee machine, small oven, microwave. Anteroom, toilet. In front of the hut are seats and a barbecue, a herb garden, a small sandbox, swings, wide meadows - perfect for children!
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tourism tax currently € 2,10/person/night, electricity € 0,45/kWh, firewood € 25,-/week, pet € 30,-/week, final cleaning € 40,-, bed linen/towels can be rented for € 15,-. You will get the Wörthersee Plus Card with a lot of discounts and free entries on spot

Wir haben herrlich erholsame Tage in absoluter Ruhe und Stille auf der Zechnerhütte verbracht. Wer Abstand vom Trubel der Arbeit/Stadt braucht, ist hier absolut richtig. Nachdem es unser erster Hüttenurlaub war, wussten wir nicht,was wir alles mitnehmen sollten und somit viel zu viel mit. Aber die Vermieter der Hütte hatten an alles gedacht!! Absolut empfehlenswert!!
