Location
The hut is located in the Mölltal, on a slope, very quiet, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park with its over two hundred 3000m peaks. Access via a dead end street that ends directly at the house in the carport, access to the house is covered. Wide glacier fields, deep green mountain lakes and impressive waterfalls characterize this beautiful cultural landscape.
DistancesGroßkirchheim 2km, here you will find shops, several restaurants, natural outdoor swimming pool, beach volleyball court, tennis, climbing tower. Directly in Großkirchheim there is 1 lift in 2km, otherwise Heiligenblut 15km. 55 kilometers of slopes and 12 lifts, ski school await you here. Lienz 27km, Mölltal Glacier 40km (accessible 11 months a year). Großglockner Resort Kals-Matrei ski area with 45 kilometers of slopes and 17 modern facilities in 55km. Tavern 200m. 2.5km long cross-country skiing route in Großkirchheim. Natural hiking trails from the hut, beautiful swimming lakes (e.g. Tristacher See near Lienz) 30km. The family-friendly Glockner cycle path (R8) runs through the Mölltal over a length of 80km from Heiligenblut via Großkirchheim to Möllbrücke. Heiligenblut at 15km is located at the foot of Austrias highest mountain: the Großglockner at 3,798m. Here you can experience the most beautiful hikes and the most promising tours in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Enjoy the gigantic view of the mountain range.
EquippmentLuxurious alpine hut for a holiday with all your senses. The hut is modern, but also traditional and extremely lovingly furnished. Ground floor: entrance, 1 double room with sink, 1 four-bed room with 2 bunk beds, sink. 1 toilet. First floor: Living area with comfortable seating area, fireplace, kitchen area with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine filter and Nespresso. 1 double room, bathroom with rain shower, bathtub. 1 toilet. Also washing machine, WiFi, satellite TV. Baby bed available. The outer facade is made of chopped wood, the roof is covered with larch shingles, natural stone and old wood create a very cozy living atmosphere. The terrace in front of the living area has a fantastic view of the Tauern mountain ranges. Griller available. Next to the house there is your own luxury sauna house, carport for 2 cars. Towels, bed linen available.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Overnight and tourist tax € 2,20/night/person. Final cleaning, hand and sauna towels, disposal € 210.
