Directly by the ski piste (46 kilometer Piste, high cross-country skiing tracks, Fun park) in an absolutely quiet area, with a beautiful view in the Loferer Alm ski region. The chalet is reachable in winter by ski-lift / cable-car. Luggage transportation(with the owner of the hut). Accessible by car during summer (toll, once only).
DistancesSkiing and hiking area right beside the cabin, small bar (open during the ski season) in 80m, at good snow conditions sledding possible down to the valley, shopping convenience 4km away, inn within 1km, hiking tours to the Loferer Alm and to the water fall 1km away, tennis in 4 km.
EquippmentThe comfortable hut contains on the ground floor: living room with lounge and tiled stove. Integrated kitchen with electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, wood stove, fridge, toaster, coffee machine. Save garbage: The cabin has best drinking water and a soda stream device. 1 four-bed room, toilet. Upper floor: 3 double rooms (2 of them are with balcony), 1 large four-bed room, toilet, shower. Cellar: sauna with whirlpool, showers and relax room, toilet, panty. Freezer, heating with tiled stove and electrically, warm water boiler, satellite TV, radio. Wi-Fi (for a fee). Beside the cottage is a barn, where the cows get milked in Spring and Autumn for a period of about 3 weeks each, always in the morning and in the evening. In front of the hut are seats, a barbecue and sunbeds.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Electricity € 0,50/kWh, local tourism tax € 1,70/person/night. Final cleaning € 140,-, firewood € 50,-. Bed linen can be rented for € 9,- and towels for € 5,50, if required. Dog € 40,€/stay. Additional bed € 20,-/night. Deposit € 250,-.
summer season: "Sommercard" € 3,40/person/night over 15 years (free use of the cable car, swimming pools, admission to the gorges, Lamprechtshöhle (cave), .....)

Winter Infos
10 cable cars and ski lifts as well as 46km slopes - at Lofer you can really enjoy the winter! It is located amidst the holiday region Salzburger Saalachtal. The skiing region was highly honoured for its family-friendliness from a testing organisation - the investigations of the last years definitely pay off! Furthermore Lofer offers a 140m long "magic carpet" (that´s a kind of conveyor belt) for the children.
If you´d like to go cross-country skiing you can choose between the 1.5km long and the 4km long prepared course, which leads through the wonderful winter landscape. Along the path you have the possibility to stop off at four restaurants.
NEW: the whole 7km long slope down to the valley is snow-covered!
Summer Infos
Located in the heart of the Pinzgau and in the triangle between Salzburg, Tyrol and Bavaria, is the Salzburg Saalachtal with the towns of Lofer, Unken, St. Martin and Weißbach.
Picturesque, each unique and connected by the rushing Saalach, they are an ideal starting point for outdoor adventures such as white water, rafting, canyoning, and kayaking. Climbing, hiking in the Almenwelt Lofer or much more. Whether summer or winter, the wonderful nature surrounds you at all times.

Das Haus war spitze, ausreichend Platz für die ganze Familie. Die große Wohnküche hat uns immer alle zusammen gebracht. Das einzige packt Hausschuhe ein, wir sind zuhause Barfußläufer und unser jüngster hat sich mehrere Schiefer eingezogen. Aber die Hütte mit ihrem Ausblick ist einfach unbeschreiblich und Atemberaubend, ich persönlich konnte meinen ganzen Stress den der Alltag mit sich bringt komplett hinter mir lassen. Einfach mal los lassen und das sein genießen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren insgesamt 10 Personen, davon 4 Kinder. Es waren 4 tolle Tage. Entspannung pur. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Vielen herzlichen Dank auch nochmal an Familie Speicher, die uns herzlich empfangen hat. Das komplette Ferienhaus war sehr sauber. Zu der Lofer Alm ist man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto gefahren. Es gibt zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten, welche auch gut mit Kindern zu bewältigen sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Da wir im Oktober waren, hatten wir die Wiesen um das Ferienhaus nur für uns und mussten sie nicht mit den Kühen teilen.
Wandergebiet rund um die Hüter ist großartig - aus diesem Grund gehen auch viele Wanderer an der Hütte vorbei.
Zur Lage möchte ich gerne erwähnen, dass rund um die Hütte zu unserer Reisezeit Kühe waren. Das war zum anschauen und dem landfaktor-erleben sehr nett. Im Laufe der Woche ging uns dadurch aber ein Grundstück ab, auf dem man auch problemlos Frisbee od anderes spielen kann (einerseits wegen der dort stehenden kühe aber vor allem auch wegen dem Kot der überall verteilt liegt - auch auf der zufahrtsstraße-eine autowäsche nachher sollte man auch einplanen) .
Wer also auf gute alleinLage und eine große Grundfläche Wert legt, auf der man sich im Sommer auch gut und frei bewegen kann sollte sich die anreise überlegen.
Der Wellness- und Saunabereich ist top und generell ist die Aufteilung und Ausstattung im Inneren der Hütte sehr gut!
