Location

The holiday home is located on the edge of the forest, about 2km from Rettenegg in a wonderful, absolutely quiet, secluded location. The holiday home covers an area of almost 1.5 hectares. About 1000 m² around the house are completely fenced. Next to the house is a beautifully preserved empty stable building.

Distances

Rettenegg with inns, indoor pool (summer only), supermarket, shops 2km. Bathing pond 2km. Ski areas Stuhleck or Semmering each 20km. Sankt Kathrein am Hauenstein 15 minutes travel time. In winter, the house is an ideal starting point for tours on Stuhleck, Pretul or Hochwechsel. In summer long hikes and excursions through the Joglland to Hochwechsel, Stuhleck, Pretul or directly to the village of Rettenegg from the house. The area offers many mountainbike trails.

The house was renovated in 2021 and has on the ground floor: Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven, wood stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and dining table. Conservatory with seating area, TV room with couch (additional bed for 2 people if required) and satellite TV. High chair available. bathroom with shower, toilet. 1 double room. Upper floor: 1 double room with washbasin, 1 double room with shower, washbasin. Basement: Sauna with YOU. The house has 3 terraces for sitting and grilling. Oil central heating.

Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:

Local tax currently € 2.50/person/night, electricity € 0.50/kWh, wood flat rate € 30/week, heating costs €50/week in winter. Final cleaning €50, pet €30/stay. Bed linen € 7,-/set, towels € 3,- can be rented.

The Stuhleck ski area offers 26km wide runs that have rightly been awarded the Styrian Piste Seal of Approval. Thanks to an altitude difference of 1000 m, descents of more than 5 km in length are possible in one piece. Two snow parks invite you to go snowboarding. There are 10 lifts, a childrens adventure track, a childrens area, a giant slalom track and a speed check!
The Stuhleck Night Ride has a floodlit slope and you can enjoy the slopes until 8:30 p.m. There is also a 5km long natural toboggan run!

Summer Infos

On an exploration tour through the energy-giving village of Rettenegg, you will discover a small piece of earth to relax, to be active or to be amazed.
A special hike to the Stuhleck can be experienced on the planet path, which is also on the hiking route "From the glacier to the wine": Here, the hikers are brought closer to the size of the universe through the representation of the planets of our solar system on a billions scale. Afterwards, the tour of discovery continues in the exhibition Labyrinth Human: A journey through the human body shows how it functions, takes care of itself and protects itself. After these many discoveries, you have to strengthen yourself for the first time - and where better to do that than in the restaurant with the largest trout menu in Austria, in the Joglland Forellengasthof. Fish lovers and those who want to become one will find a variety of specialties here, such as the Jobi® roller.

Wir waren dieses Mal für 2 Wochen in diesem wundervollem Urlaubshaus. Bei der Punktevergabe muß man unterscheiden zwischen Unterkunft und Vermieter. Für dieUnterkunft gibt es 10 Punkte. Die Unterkunft läßt keine Wünsche offen. Und für die Vermieter wäre es eine Frechheit wenn man denen 10 Punkte geben würde. Die verdienen 25 und mehr Punkte. Es gibt kein besseres Vermieterehepaar als Andrea und Anja. Noch einmal recht herzlichen Dank an die beiden für die wunderschönen 2 Wochen Urlaub. Wir sehen uns sicher wieder.

Wir wurden herzlich von der lieben jungen Familie empfangen und verabschiedet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Hütte ist super ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es wurde uns angeboten, dass wir uns jederzeit melden dürfen, wenn wir etwas benötigen. Das war allerdings gar nicht notwendig, da alles vor Ort war! Die Gegend ist ein Traum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut betreut gefühlt! Alle Punktzahl voll! Vielen Dank

Wenn jemand einen wunderschönen Urlaub erleben möchte, dann ist diese Unterkunft genau das richtige. Die Gastgeber sind einfach traumhaft. Total freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft läßt keine Wünsche offen. Einfach toll. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Wir waren in der ersten Jänner Woche zu Gast in rettenegg. Familie S. ist super freundlich und heißt einen herzlich willkommen. Sie sind immer erreichbar. In der Hütte findet man alles vor, was man braucht. Kamin Unsere 2 Hunde haben sich auch pudelwohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist mitten im Wandergebiet und erreicht man auch innerhalb v 45 Minuten wirklich tolle Ausflugsziele.
