Secluded, quiet and in a sunny spot, surrounded by mountain pastures on a slight slope. Accessible via a 2km long forrest road, in winter - 4WD or snow chains needed!
DistancesSki area Klippitztörl with ski school, cross country skiing and ice skating in 13km distance from here. In summer you have the possibility to go hiking, hiking trails starting directly at the hut, or you just enjoy the great outdoors! The Saualm area and the Zirbitz area offer a lot of places of excursions. Toboggan run for use in summer, an adventure fixed rope route for the whole family and guided horseback riding in just 13km from here. Shopping in Bad St. Leonhard in 12km. 5 km from here is a 4-star-hotel where you can use the indoor swimming pool, the spa area and the tennis court for a fee and on request.
EquippmentGround floor: kitchen with electric cooker, oven, wood stove, oven, firdge, coffee machine and dining area, small living room with sofa and satellite TV. Shower/toilet, double room (160x190). Upper floor: 1 four-bed room (double bed, 2 single beds). Radio available. Basement: accessible from the outside: sauna with shower and silent room. Wood-fired central heating, hot water tank (150 liter). In front of the cottage are roofed seats and a barbecue grill.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Electricity € 0,60/kWh, local tourism tax currently € 2,60, costs for wood pellets depend on the consumption (€ 10,-/15kg-bag), final cleaning € 50,-, pet € 30,-/stay, bed linen can be rented for € 12,-.

The traffic-wise perfectly located skiing area Klippitzörl (just 10 minutes from the motorway exit Bad St. Leonhard) is a real highlight at the Lavanttal. The skiing area reaches an altitude of 1,818m. There are 28km prepared slopes at all levels of difficulty. New, environmentally friendly snow-covering machines make this skiing region to an area where snow is assured. Ski school, ski rental, child care, floodlight lifts, illuminated natural toboggan run, ice-skating area and cross-country ski runs are available. In summer you can hike into the sleepy Lavanttal and onto the Saualpe or you can discover the Klippitzörl.
The farmed huts located at this wonderful alpine landscape will look after your physical well-being.

Alles war perfekt !
Wir hatten eine wunderbare und sehr erholsame Woche auf der Friedl Keusche. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, das Haus ist sehr sauber und einfach aber mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Sauna ist ein echter Luxus nach einem Wandertag. Unsere Hunde waren begeistert. Man genießt Ruhe und absolute Alleinlage.
