The chalet is located amid the forest, completely quiet and alone, above the village Großsölk at the foot of Gumpeneck, amid the "Naturpark Sölktal"

EquippmentThe cabin has just one room, equipped with a lounge, a wood stove, a sink (cold water) and 2 beds. No electricity, solar light. In front of the hut are seats, a barbecue, the earth closet a well and a small fish pond (trout).
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tourism tax currently € 2,50/person/night, lump-sum for wood € 30,-, pet € 15,-. Bed linen can be rented for € 7,-/set. Fishing: € 8,-/fish.

Hütte ist schön, total in Ordnung. Ein großer Minuspunkt ist der, das es keinen Liegestuhl oder ähnliches gibt, was eigentlich zu einem Hüttenurlaub dazu gehört.

Es war wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Ruhe pur und die Hütte war klasse. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Alles sehr gepflegt. Sankt Nikolai ist ein kleines Dorf, aber sehr zauberhaft. Überall kl. Rinsale, Flüsse und Natur pur. Hier ist es noch sehr ursprünglich. Ich konnte mich gut erhole
Wir hatten alles was das Hüttenleben bieten konnte- Gewitter, leichter Regen, Hitze, aber ganz wichtig für uns bei diesem Urlaub war, dass wir uns erholen und das haben wir bei dieser Hütter wunderbar geschafft. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut betreut und waren sehr sehr begeistert... wir haben sofort für nächstes Jahr gebucht. :-)
Wir und unsere zwei Hundis freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal!

Ich war mit meinen 2 Hunden eine Woche alleine auf dieser Hütte und muss sagen, dass es eine unvergesslich schöne Woche war, in der man zur Ruhe kommt und die Natur direkt ab Hütte genießen kann. Man ist für sich, kann mit dem Wagen bequem bis vor die Hütte fahren und hat schöne Wandermöglichkeiten. Wer dann einen Fisch selbst zubereiten kann, der kann sich auch im Fischtreich bedienen. Ich komme sicher wieder. Nur meine Frau bekomme ich wegen des Plumpsklos nicht hin. Mich hat es nicht gestört.
Ruhig gelegene Berghütte mitten im Wald, fernab der Zivilisation. Gerade richtig, um ganz entspannt die Seele baumeln zu lassen.
Super entspannender Urlaub, leider hatten wir mit dem Wetter Pech, aber die Hütte ist ein Traum! Wir waren mit unserem Hund da und haben die Steiermark kennen und lieben gelernt, auch die Vermieter sind super !!! Leider sind wir jetzt zu viert, daher zu klein, sonst aber immer gerne wieder
