The cottage is located in the "Mostviertel" (=region), at the bottom of the Sonntagberg (=mountain), about 4km from Waidhofen/Ybbs. The famous basilica on Sonntagberg is visible from afar. You can find countless hiking trails and bycicle tracks within spitting distance!

EquippmentGround floor: snuggery with seating corner, perfectly equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven, dish washer, fridge, coffee machine, water heater. Bathroom with shower, toilet. Upper floor: Bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1 couch. Satellite TV available. Heating with the chimney. In front of the hut is a roofed terrace with seats, a barbecue. Here you find the sauna/infrared cabine.

The Sonntagberg has been one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Austria for centuries. Visible as lookout point from far away, it is the landmark of the Mostviertel and one of the spiritual centers of Austria.
The approximately 50-kilometer-long panoramic high path meanders along the Sonntagberg via St. Leonhard am Walde to the Hochkogelberg above Randegg. Be leisurely on the move, linger and enjoy the wonderful views. Along all routes there are pretty places to picnic, wine taverns and taverns to stop off at.
