The cottage is located in the "Mostviertel" (=region), at the bottom of the Sonntagberg (=mountain), about 4km from Waidhofen/Ybbs. The famous basilica on Sonntagberg is visible from afar. You can find countless hiking trails and bycicle tracks within spitting distance!

Perfect area for hikers and mountain bikers, mountain bike trail "Ybbstalradweg" from Waidhofen to Lunz am See. Swimming pool 3km, tennis court 2km, riding 4km, fishing 4km. Wildlife park and climbing forest 5km, Zoo "Haag" 27km.
EquippmentThe cabin features a cozy living area with a seating corner, sofa, and wood-burning stove. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with an electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, air fryer, and SodaStream. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and washing machine. Stairs lead from the living area to the attic room, which is furnished with a double bed, a pull-out double bed (180 x 200 cm), and a sofa (providing sleeping space for one person if needed). A TV (antenna reception with Austrian and German channels) is provided. Heating is supplied by the wood-burning stove. Outside the cabin, there is a large covered terrace with seating and a barbecue, the sauna/infrared cabin is also located here. The cabin is surrounded by a small, fenced garden. Please do not smoke inside the cabin.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Lump-sum (electricity, wood, waste) € 4,-/person/night, local tourism tax €2,50/night/person Final cleaning € 60,-. Pet € 5,-/day, bed linen + towels can be rented for € 10,-/set.

The Sonntagberg has been one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Austria for centuries. Visible as lookout point from far away, it is the landmark of the Mostviertel and one of the spiritual centers of Austria.
The approximately 50-kilometer-long panoramic high path meanders along the Sonntagberg via St. Leonhard am Walde to the Hochkogelberg above Randegg. Be leisurely on the move, linger and enjoy the wonderful views. Along all routes there are pretty places to picnic, wine taverns and taverns to stop off at.

Da der Garten komplett eingezäunt ist, konnten wir auch unseren Hund frei laufen lassen, was für ihn wirklicher Luxus war. Die Ausstattung ist für einen Hüttenurlaub schon sehr umfangreich aber mein Highlight ist und bleibt der Kamin (und die Sauna natürlich). :)
Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Sommer dort verbraucht - hauptsächlich zum Wandern und Radfahren. Hütte hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr sauber. Der Vermieter vor Ort ist auch sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für die schöne Auszeit.
