The house is located in a beautiful, quiet, sunny secluded garden, surrounded by meadows, next to an empty stable, above the village of St. Salvator, at the foot of the Grebenzen.
DistancesNext city for shopping Friesach 7km. Here you will find the courtyard in the summer games and the unique Spektakulum of Austria. An ideal starting point for hikes to the summit of Grebenzen or the Kuhalpe. Family Ski St. Längsee 20km, golf, spa, horseback riding, fishing in 5 to 10km.
EquippmentThe house has on the ground floor: kitchen with lounge, electric cooker, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. Living room with lounge, satellite TV. 1 bedroom with tiled stove. Shower, toilet and washing machine. Upper floor: 3 double rooms. Shower, toilet. All rooms with washbasin. Central heating. In front of the house are a garden with seats, a barbecue and beautiful view!
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Electricity € 0,30/kWh, local tourism tax currently € 1,60/person/night, pet € 25, -. Bed linen (€ 7,-), towels (€ 5,-) and bathrobe (€ 10,-) can be rented.

A real inside tip for people searching for silence and like to ski of the highest quality. Remotely located from the mass tourism, you can really enjoy your winter holiday! With the ski lift you can reach an altitude of 1,900m, from here you have wonderful views over the surrounding area and the Benedictine church St. Lambrecht.
The skiing area Grebenzen with 6 ski lifts and 23km slopes are that well prepared for skiers and snowboarders that the guests always like to come again. That means: well prepared slopes for skiing, carving and snowboarding. Top snow covering machines guarantee perfect slope conditions.
Especially the 2 child-ski lifts, that are free of charge, and the snowman village are very popular with children. The FIS-race slope where Hermann Maier, Renate Götschl and a lot more famous skiers fought for the Austrian championship title is very unique.

Wenn man Ruhe, Entspannung und Natur pur möchte, ist dieses Haus absolut empfehlenswert. Wir sind eine 6 Köpfige Familie, die Kinder sind 4, 7, 12 und 13. Auch diese fanden den Urlaub voll toll, da man echt alleine ist und auch wenn es etwas lauter zugeht es niemand stört. Küchenausstattung voll ausreichend für den Urlaub. Der Garten ums Haus herum voll toll für Kinder und Hund. Die Umgebung echt super.
Nur der Weg (Straße) zum Haus ist abenteuerlich. Fährt man allerdings langsam ist er gut zu meistern.
die almhütte ist einsame spitze und die vermieter ganz super freundlich! das war erholung pur in top ruhelage
Alleine in ganz Kärnten! So fühlt man sich hier. Weit und breit kein anderer Mensch. Erholungsfaktor 1.000! Als Selbstständiger braucht man diese Auszeit. (Leider) war unsere Tochter das 1. Mal reiten, jetzt müssen wir uns hier in NRW einen Reitstall suchen :-)
Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub wirklich voll ausgekostet und starten nun (wohl oder übel) voller Tatendrang wieder in den Alltag
